FARC Hostage rescue of Ingrid Betancourt

A Plausibly Deniable quasi Hostage Taking and International Intervention

Ingrid Betancourt Pulecio (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈiŋɡɾið βetaŋˈkuɾ];[1] born 25 December 1961)[2] is a Colombian-Frenchpolitician, former senator and anti-corruptionactivist.

Betancourt was kidnapped by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) on 23 February 2002 while campaigning for the Colombian presidency as a Green, and was rescued by Colombian security forces six and a half years later on 2 July 2008. The rescue operation, dubbed Operation Jaque, rescued Betancourt along with 14 other hostages (three United States citizens, and 11 Colombian policemen and soldiers).[3][4] She had decided to campaign in the former "zone of dissention", after the military operation "Tanatos" was launched, and after the zone was declared free of guerrillas by the government.[5] Her kidnapping received worldwide coverage, particularly in France, where she also held citizenship due to her prior marriage to a French diplomat.[citation needed]

Betancourt has received multiple international awards, such as the Légion d'honneur. In 2008, she received the Concord Prince of Asturias Award.[6] After her release, she was portrayed by some of her fellow captives as "controlling and manipulative";[7] others described her as "caring" and "courageous".[8][9] One of them (Luis Eladio Perez) claims Betancourt saved his life.[10]

In February 2006, France urged the FARC to seize the chance offered by a European-proposed prisoner swap, accepted by Bogotá, and free dozens it had held for up to seven years. Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy said it was "up to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) to show they were serious about releasing former Colombian presidential candidate Íngrid Betancourt and other detainees."[citation needed]

In an interview with French newspaper L'Humanité in June 2006, Raul Reyes, a leader of the FARC, said that Betancourt "is doing well, within the environment she finds herself in. It's not easy when one is deprived of freedom."[25]

Aung San Suu Kyi released from house arrest

Aung San Suu Kyi punished with house arrest in Burma

Burma's military regime provoked strident condemnation from governments around the world and threats of further sanctions after a court convicted Aung San Suu Kyi and sentenced her to spend 18 months under house arrest.

The Burmese opposition leader and Nobel peace laureate, who has already spent 14 of the last 20 years in detention, was convicted of breaching the terms of her earlier house arrest after an American man, John Yettaw, swam uninvited to the lakeside villa where she was detained in May.

While she could have been jailed for five years, the regime is believed to have sought to protray itself as lenient by choosing house arrest as her punishment. However, the sentence will still mean she is unable to campaign for elections due next year.

A senior Western diplomat who was in court said Mrs Suu Kyi, 64, was "a model of dignity and composure", but had appeared weary.

The diplomat said there were gasps in court when the judges read out a sentence of three years in jail with hard labour. The interior minister, Major-General Muang Oo, then stood up and read a statement form the leader of Burma's junta, General Than Shwe, commuting the sentence to 18 months' house arrest.

Nobel Laureates Rallying to Burmese's Cause

In an unusual lobbying campaign, the Dalai Lama and several other recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize plan to meet in Thailand next week and travel to the border with Myanmar to demand freedom for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the dissident who won the 1991 prize and who is now under house arrest in her country.

Organizers of the meeting said today that the others planning to attend the meeting were Archbishop Desmond M. Tutu of South Africa; Oscar Arias Sanchez, the former President of Costa Rica; Mairead Maguire and Betty Williams, who led a campaign to end violence in Northern Ireland, and Adolpho Perez Esquivel of Argentina, who helped expose a wave of Government-sanctioned killings in Argentina in the 1970's.

Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi has been detained under armed guard since 1989 in her family's lakeside villa in Yangon, the Myanmar capital, and has been allowed only a handful of visits with her husband and two children.

The participation of the Dalai Lama, winner of the 1989 Peace Prize, was made possible today when the Government of Thailand said it would grant him a visa. Earlier, Thai officials had suggested that he would be denied a visa out of concern that his visit would anger China.

Officials organizing the action next week said the prize recipients would travel to the Thai-Myanmar border to meet with students and other dissidents who fled Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, after a 1988 crackdown on democracy demonstrators.

The Thai Foreign Minister, Prasong Soonsiri, was quoted in Bangkok newspapers today as saying that the Government had decided to allow the Dalai Lama and other Nobel laureates to travel to Thailand to join in next week's protest on behalf of Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi. "But I hope that while on their mission they will know the kinds of activities they can and cannot carry out in this country," he said.

Mr. Prasong said China, which has ruled over Tibet since a 1950 invasion, should not be offended by the Thai Government's decision to allow a visit by the Dalai Lama, who fled Tibet in 1959 and now lives in India with thousands of his followers.

"Thailand is a free country, and the world community knows that we want to be friends with every country," the Foreign Minister said.

The hosts of the Bangkok conference, the International Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development, said today that they had received confirmation that the Dalai Lama would attend the four-day gathering that is scheduled to begin in Bangkok on Feb. 17.

"Our central focus is to insist on the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, and we are delighted that the Dalai Lama will be joining our mission," said Peter Andre Globensky, a spokesman for the Center for Human Rights, which is based in Montreal.

He said the organization had not intended to embarrass Thailand by inviting the Dalai Lama, who was denied a Thai visa in 1990 to attend a ceremony to honor winners of a separate human-rights prize.

"We wanted to respect any regional sensitivities that the Thai Government had," Mr. Globensky said. "It's their territory and their decision on who will be let in. We're very pleased this is the decision that they've made."

He said the organization had asked the Myanmar Government for permission for the Nobel laureates to cross the border from Thailand to Myanmar to discuss human rights issues.

But Mr. Globensky said: "It has been quite clearly indicated to us by the current Government of Myanmar that we're not welcome there. It is not our intention to enter onto Burmese soil"

Amnesty International, the London-based human rights organization that won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1977, has said it will also send a delegate to the conference.

Burmese junta spokesmen have been quoted this month as saying that Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi will be held under house arrest indefinitely unless she agrees to quit politics and leave Myanmar.

2 Greek soldiers arrested by Turkish Military.

Greeks vent fury over soldiers being 'held hostage' in Turkey

Sgt Dimitris Kouklatzis, 27, and Lt Angelos Mitretodis, 25, were seized 11 days ago after allegedly being found in a “forbidden military zone” deep in Turkish territory. The soldiers say they inadvertently strayed across the frontier in bad weather.

Last week a court in the Turkish border town of Edirne, where the two are being held in a high-security prison, rejected a plea for their release pending further investigation.

In rallies in Orestiada, the Greek town closest to the border, and Thessaloniki, the country’s northern capital, protesters called for the soldiers to be set free immediately.

Regaining Greek National Independence.

There are Greek, legitimate dissidents are being kept as quasi hostages.

The contemporary colonialism (U2RIT) attempts, unprovokedly, to conquer peaceful countries and replace their population by using the same method as it did against the Tasmanian Nation. One of these peaceful countries is Greece.

In Greece there is a non-uniformed, colonizing army which is equivalent to the Colombia’s FARC and which is controlled by the colonizing Nations.

The Greek version of FARC, during the last, approximatelly, sixty years occupied most of the gate-keeping positions within Greece’s administration infrustructure.

Also, it has promoted legislation which forbides every Greek citizen from gaining knowledge of his or hers full content of their corresponding judicial files and criminal records, making it impossible to become informed for any potential judicial fraud that was perpetrated against them. And in order to keep every legitimate and patriotic citizen from becoming involved within Greece’s political system, since 1981 until today, both, the computer processing and the final validation, of all Greece’s political elections are being performed by a single private company, which, according to unverified information, is being controlled, soly, by the U2RIT.

During the past sixty years, the Greek version of FARC, in order to surve the colonizing Metropolis interests:

  • They enforced, upon involuntary adults and children, illegitimate human experimentation, after having committed judicial frauds in order to deprive those victims from their human rights.

  • They enforced, upon involuntary adults and children, illegitimate human organs/tissues taking for smuggling, after having committed judicial frauds in order to deprive those victims from their human rights.

  • They committed political assassinations.

  • They, indirectly, comfiscated almost each and every, economically viable, Greek business unit.

  • They perpetrated a Genocide, against the Greek Nation, of causing mental harm.

  • They instigated, multiple, treasons against the Greek Nation.

  • They exterminated most of Greece’s natural leadership.

  • They, involuntarily, implanted electronic devices to the brains of legitimate Greek dissidents in order to use this technology for subjugating them (according to Rauni-Leena Luukanen-Kilde and Gloria Naylor, this technology gives the colonizers the ability to, unsuspectedly, remotelly monitor the victims’ thoughts).

  • They systematically participated in black-ops, namely, they perpetrated zersetzen torture (gang-stalking) against innocent civilians which were designated, arbitrarily, as targeted-individuals.

  • They have, probably, compromized the public health for various reasons.

There have been, very few, citizens which, promptly, had found out about the, quasi, “operation Tasmania” against the Greek Nation. Those citizens were, indirectly, hostage taken by:

  • Slandering them.

  • Perpetrating judicial frauds against them.

  • Assassinating the members of their families.

  • Slandering them in order for them to become, socially, professionally, politically, etc. marginalized.

  • Confiscating their financial income.

  • Unofficially exiling them.

  • Obstructing them from excersizing any profession.

  • Enforcing them to become homeless or to accommodate themselves in their private cars.

  • Indirectly, obstructing them from making any kind of preventive medical examination.

  • Abusing their brain implants in order to induce upon them the mental state of awake unconsiousness, in order to fabricate against them fake incriminating evidence and institutionalize them.

One of those, quasi, hostages is, myself for the following reasons:

  1. I possess crucial knowledge about the death of my father, Takis Bompolas, who, according to sufficient indications, he was murdered.

  2. I possess knowledge related to torturing of crucial judicial witnesses, in contemporary Greece.

  3. I possess knowledge about the methods which, the colonial establishment in Greece exploits, in order to retain its political power and perpetuate its existence.

  4. I possess knowledge about the perpetrators of an assassination attempt, against myself, which taken place during 2006, in Athens, Greece.

  5. I possess knowledge about the preparations which, Russia is being perpetrated, for the annexation of Evros prefecture, at northern Greece.

  6. I manifest, for the past decade, political activism which promotes, the rule of Law; Democracy; Freedom; Greece's independence; and the Human Rights.

  7. I, publicly, promote, the legitimate and peaceful downfall of Greece's coup d' étet and the restoration of Democracy and Freedom, in Greece.

Until recently, the international community was intervening, as in the cases of, Ingrid Betancourt and Aung San Suu Kyi, and the victims were, eventually, freed.

Currently, the colonizing Nations are being using the military method of diversion.

By instigating instrumental hostage situations like the one of the two Greek soldiers which remain in captivation, in Turkey, the colonizing Nations succeed in covering up their, actuall, hostage taking of legitimate dissidents, in order for the public opinion never to pay attention to their suffering. By this way, one by one, members of the most excellent and kind part of our human kind, like Rauni-Leena Luukanen-Kilde, Gloria Naylor, Bernd Seiffert, and many others, perish.

Every day I am loosing, on average, two thousands seven hundread forty of my own people which die from supposed illnessess of various kinds. From them, the two thousand four hundred sixty six are Germans and the two hundrers seventy four are Greeks. Furthemore, few thousands more, start, supposedly spontaneously, to suffer from various kinds of illnessess.

The members of the international community, both, the citizens, as well as, the States, they have to, somehow, arrange for, promptly, making the contemporary colonialism to vanish; otherwise, too many innocent civilians are going to, unjustly, loose their sacred lives, due to colonialism and almost, all the rest may, gradually, become unable to comprehend what, Freedom, means.
