In Greek mythology, Lyssa (Greek: Λύσσα; called Lytta (Λύττα) by the Athenians) was the spirit of mad rage, frenzy, and rabies in animals. She was closely related to the Maniae, the spirits of madness and insanity. Her Roman equivalent was variously named Ira, Furor, or Rabies. Sometimes she was multiplied into a host of Irae and Furores.

In Euripides' Herakles, Lyssa is identified as "the daughter of Nyx, sprung from the blood of Ouranos"—that is, the blood from Uranus' wound following his castration by Cronus. The 1st-century Latin writer Hyginus describes her as a child of Gaia and Aether.

She personifies mad rage and frenzy, as well as rabies in animals. In Herakles she is called upon by Hera to inflict the hero Heracles with insanity. In this scenario she is shown to take a temperate, measured approach to her role, professing "not to use [her powers] in anger against friends, nor [to] have any joy in visiting the homes of men." She counsels Iris, who wishes to carry out Hera's command, against targeting Heracles but, after failing to persuade, bows to the orders of the superior goddess and sends him into a mad rage that causes him to murder his wife and children.

Greek vase-paintings of the period indicate her involvement in the myth of Aktaion, the hunter torn apart by his own, maddened dogs as a punishment for looking on the naked form of the goddess Artemis. Aeschylus identifies her as being the agent sent by Dionysus to madden the impious daughters of Minyas, who in turn dismember Pentheus.

During our era, the powers of the Greek ancient spirit Lytta, was envied by those who prefer for themselves, to remain above the law and to, preemptively, discourage any complain, on behalf of their fellow human beings.

Therefore, I suspect that, those people may haven't heard anything about the benefits of ancient goddess Athena's powers.

Athena (/əˈθiːnə/; Attic Greek: Ἀθηνᾶ, Athēnā, or Ἀθηναία, Athēnaia; Epic: Ἀθηναίη, Athēnaiē; Doric: Ἀθάνα, Athānā) or Athene (/əˈθiːniː/; Ionic: Ἀθήνη, Athēnē), often given the epithet Pallas (/ˈpæləs/; Παλλὰς), is the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and war. In later times, Athena was syncretized with the Roman goddess Minerva.

From her origin as an Aegean palace goddess, Athena was regarded as the patron and protectress of various cities across Greece, particularly the city of Athens, from which she received her name. She was known as Polias and Poliouchos (derived from polis, meaning "city-state"), and her temples were usually located atop the fortified Acropolis in the central part of the city. The Parthenon on the Athenian Acropolis is dedicated to her. As the patron of craft and weaving, Athena was known as Ergane. She was also a warrior goddess, and was believed to lead soldiers into battle as Athena Promachos.

In ancient Greek literature, Athena is portrayed as the astute companion of heroes and as the patron goddess of heroic endeavour; in the Odyssey, she is the divine counselor to Odysseus, and she was believed to have also aided the hero Perseus. In Greek mythology, Athena was believed to have been born from the head of her father Zeus. She was known as Athena Parthenos ("Athena the Virgin"), but, in one archaic Attic myth, the god Hephaestus tried and failed to rape her, resulting in Gaia giving birth to Erichthonius. In the founding myth of Athens, Athena bested Poseidon in a competition over patronage of the city by creating the first olive tree. Along with Aphrodite and Hera, Athena was one of the three goddesses whose feud resulted in the beginning of the Trojan War.

In the later writings of the Roman poet Ovid, Athena was said to have competed against the mortal Arachne in a weaving competition, afterwards transforming Arachne into the first spider; Ovid also describes how she transformed Medusa into a Gorgon after witnessing her being raped by Poseidon in her temple. Since the Renaissance, Athena has become an international symbol of wisdom and the arts. Western artists and allegorists have often used Athena as a symbol of freedom and democracy.

An endless sequence of deadly hostilities manifests a war. A disguise of these deadly hostilities, to leathal criminality, and/or, to leathal diplomacy, and/or to leathal international trade, does not, in any way, mean the end of a war.

Peace, does not mean a disguised war.

Too many innocent people, according to my knowledge, are, unjustly, loosing their sacred lives, probably, because, the knowledge of how to heal a trauma upon one's feelings remains a privilege of very few individuals.

Too many children; too many elders; too many adults, who just wish to live their invaluable lives, Peacefully; Freely; Cordially; and to a certain extent, Prosperously.

Too much wonderful life is lost without a reason. Is there anyone who cares about them?

Christos Boumpoulis

P.S.: Some times I am getting the impression that, literary, there is too much “Lytta” “out there”, in society. In case that, an imaginary inventor could invent a mythical “device” that could transform all this supposed “Lytta” to ordinary food, then, I doubt that, any number of hungry people might remain on Earth. Quiz: which is, the most easily spotted kind of authenticly, lethal criminals?
