Missile launch facility
A missile launch facility, also known as an underground missile silo, launch facility (LF), or nuclear silo, is a vertical cylindrical structure constructed underground, for the storage and launching of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). The structures typically have the missile some distance below ground, protected by a large "blast door" on top. They are usually connected, physically and/or electronically, to a missile launch control center. [wiki]
Anger may repast with thee for an hour, but not repose for a night; the continuance of anger is hatred, the continuance of hatred turns malice. Francis Quarles
Malice is of a low stature, but it hath very long arms. George Savile
Socrates famously said that the unconsidered life is not worth living. He meant that a life without forethought or principle is a life so vulnerable to chance, and so dependent on the choices and actions of others, that it is of little real value to the person living it. He further meant that a life well lived is one directed by the one who lives it, to the fullest extent possible to a human being caught in the webs of society and history. A. C. Grayling
